LOVE

                                     
     The word love means a lot to different people. I read a poem written by my friend about love. She wrote not about the selfish kind of love but the perfect, genuine, selfless kind of love. The true love binding people in a family, community, state, country and the world as a whole. This peom got me thinking about what we see in the society. So here is the poem:
                 
                      LOVE
Love is a variety of feelings
attitude, affection, pleasure.
Love is an emotion, a strong attraction
A personal attachment.


Love keeps human beings together
Love is a stronger form of like contrasted with hate
against menace
Love facilitates the continuation of species


Love cares for a person                                                                  
Love conquers all
Love is to will the good of another
delighted by the happiness of another


Love is virtue representing human kindness
Love is compassionate, affectionate
unselfish, loyal and benevolent for the good of others.

         The last verse of the poem got me thinking, she wrote and i quote " Love is a virtue representing human kindness Love is compassionate, affectionate, unselfish, loyal and benevolent for the good of others".  A question struck me: Do we have or rather exhibit this kind of love? Even  I myself  got to realize that it is not in all cases i exhibit this kind of love.I got to understand that there's nothing like partial love, its either true love or no love at all. The love am referring to is not the love that comes along with feelings for another person but the kind of Love Jesus Christ exhibited to us; the pure Love of the Almighty to mankind.Thinking evil thoughts about others isn't love. We cant love some people and hate others. We have to strive to attain that perfect kind of love, love for our fellow men, love for everyone around us no matter the ethnicity, religion or whatsoever.
                     
Remember there's no greater Law in creation than The Law Of Love.

What is Grace?

A friend sent this to me and i said to myself i need to share this with everyone so here it is:
          Grace is the love and mercy given to us by God because God desires us to have it, not because of anything we've done to earn it. It means undeserved kindness from God to man the moment he(man) sees he is unworthy of God's favour. It is the condescension or benevolence shown by God to human race. It is a spontaneous gift from God to man.
          Grace is an attribute of God that is most manifest in the salvation of sinners, as it is in the book of Ephesians 2:8 that 'God saved you by his GRACE when you believe. And you cant take credit for this; it is a gift from God." Grace is the voice that calls us to change and then gives us the power to pull it off. Grace is not simply leniency when we've sinned, Grace is the enabling gift of God not to sin.. Grace is power, not just pardon. Saving us is the greatest and most concrete demonstration of God's love, the definite display of His Grace throughout time and eternity.
          success and victory in life is not entirely because of our hard work or intellect, it's of the grace of God.
          Grace is the most valuable asset in the race of life.
          Grace terminated disgrace and turns ridicules to miracles.
          Grace doesn't always choose the qualified , but it qualifies the chosen.
          Grace singles out a man out of the crowd.
          Grace provides.
          Grace keeps you on your toes.

The kind of songs we should listen to

      We claim to be Spiritual and to love The Almighty and to strive to obey his Will yet look at the songs we listen to.
  The same mouth we use to glorify Him we use it to sing skelewu and the likes. On our playlist one minute we are listening to Don Moen and next minute its Dorobucci. Who are we fooling. We need to have a rethink, you can't be on the fence its either you serve The Lord fully or you serve the devil. Don't get me wrong am not saying those who sing or listen to circular songs serve the devil, but ask yourself this simple question "What value do these circular songs add to my life?". I have done that and found no benefit whatsoever, these songs give no  upliftment. I am not saying am perfect but what i do know is that i strive very hard to do what is right. I always say metaphorically "any song that doesn't Glorify God is circular". Songs you know that The Almighty himself would not want you to sing, you go on singing them; if we are willing to serve The Almighty we should do it fully. Just like the Ten commandments, you can't obey nine and leave one out likewise you can't serve The Almighty and keep listening to circular songs they don't correlate. People might see this and say why is this person feeling like she's Holy or something but i'll say i feel like someone who sees what is write and does it and that involves obeying the will of the Almighty. We should have a rethink and make amends as soon as possible for who knows how much time we have left.
